There is no way to express the pride and elation that we all feel after the success of the Mother’s Day Luncheon. The venue was perfect and Palma Ceia personnel couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. To say the food was delicious would not give it a proper description. It was decadent. If you missed the event, you missed the cutest and most talented models wearing fashions from Silly Dilly Tot Spot. These girls really got into the mood of the event and presented quite a show in both their modeling and especially in their finale dancing to a Justin Bieber song.
Every part of the event was a success. We have so many people to thank for their participation, dedication and generosity. These include our underwriters, sponsors, patrons, guests and advertisers, just to mention a few.
Your Mother’s Day committee was creative, dedicated, and tireless, loaded with positive energy. Everyone approached this event with the knowledge that we would do our very best, but in the event of any glitches, everyone was determined to have a good time. And, so we did!!!
If I can get personal on one note, I want to thank Greg Palmer, my son, for his creation of the program. Kudos to Greg for a well organized beautiful program.
Proceeds from "Elegant Evenings" will fund grants to organizations providing
services to victims of domestic violence in Hillsborough County.
